For that reason, our fruit and vegetable plants are located in the province of Castellón. This is a privileged spot for our products with a strong tradition of citrus production. At present, we have two modern plants that connect to the selling points and the wholesale markets distribution.

ONDA PLANT
- In October 2014, this new fruit and vegetable plant joined our headquarter, it has 22.000 square meters built upon a 40.000 square meters plot.
Furthermore, this modern plant stands out because of: - Its degreening fridge conservation capacity of 5.000 tonnes of fruit.
- Its pre-cooling fruit space of 1.000 square meters that includes 4 rapid pre-cooled tunnels.
- Its total processing capacity of 50 tonnes/hour for citrus and 30 t/hour for melon and watermelon.
- Its pre-calibrating capacity of 50 t/hour for citrus and future expansion to 80 t/hour space
- In the near future, these facilities are called to be the operational base and headquarters of the company.

VILA-REAL PLANT
As the headquarters of the company, it is the centre of operations of our business. With a built area of 10.000 square meters upon a 22.000 square meters plot, our headquarters has a fridge – conservation – degreening capacity of 1.500 tonnes of fruit. Moreover, it has the latest technology for its two complete packaging lines.
These infrastructures provide us a process capacity of 25 t/hour for citrus.

In Frutinter we are not only manufacturers and processors but also the ones who take care of the logistics and distribution of all our products, making the process simple and ensuring that all needs for each product are met. Always wanting to offer an excellent service.
In order to assist clients in the right way, besides of creating our own Distribution Platform in Barcelona, we have our own truck fleet for direct transport.
Frutinter is a majority shareholder of Nuppec Logística, S.L. This company has a truck fleet that carry out the majority of our national and international transports. This way, we both guarantee the freshness and quality of the fruit from the origin, and also we preserve them during the production chain until it reaches the final consumer.
FOOD SAFETY
FRUTINTER QUALITY CONTROL. A FOOD SAFETY CHOICE
Food safety, freshness and the taste of what we offer define us, that is why we have always cared for being certified in those standards of good practices that guarantee a better food quality and safety for the fruit.
We work to the IFS and BRC international standards in our packaging plants. These standards prove that the fruits and vegetables on behalf of Frutinter are produced under optimum conditions and supervision. Both necessary to guarantee its food safety.
In addition, 100% of our internal production —citrus and melon— and more than 60% of the external production —citrus— have the GLOBALGAP standard certified guarantee.
With the aim of transparency and quality, in Frutinter we have driven the S.A.T. FRUTANOVA CV470 association. It brings together our associated manufacturers and allows a better management and commercialization as well as one only supervision of crop management.
